Are you ready to shape the future of transport in the UK's second city? Manchester City Council is seeking a visionary Head of Highways Project Delivery to lead the design and delivery of a 150m portfolio of major and minor highway infrastructure projects.
This is a unique opportunity to take strategic ownership of high-impact schemes that will transform how people move across the city. You'll lead a talented in-house team and manage external partners to deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

About the Candidate
We're looking for a Chartered Civil Engineer (or equivalent experience) with an extensive background in programme delivery, commercial contract management, and stakeholder engagement. You'll be a confident leader, capable of inspiring teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving performance across complex programmes.

What we will need from you if you're successful
