As head of housekeeping you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and guest satisfaction across the business. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations, managing a team and ensuring a welcoming and spotless environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff
- Assign tasks and inspect work to ensure quality standards are met
- Train new housekeeping employees
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry is essential
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations
