Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to join our team in a friendly residential home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leading a team and a keen eye for detial.

As the Head Housekeeper, you will lead a team of housekeeping staff, overseeing daily operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff. Conduct regular inspections of rooms and communal areas. Train new staff members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and expectations. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. Order the cleaning equipment/stock Address resident/relative concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance.

Experience

Proven experience essential Previous janitorial experience is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. A customer-focused approach with strong communication abilities.
