Head of Housekeeping

Location: Carberry Tower Mansion House & Estate, near Edinburgh

Salary: Up to 30,000

We are seeking a full-time Head of Housekeeping to join our thriving team.

Carberry Tower Mansion House and Estate, an award-winning luxury Castle Mansion House nestled in a private 40-acre estate just outside of Edinburgh, is seeking individuals with a strong dedication to excellence and professionalism to join our Housekeeping Department. We welcome applications from candidates with a proven track record in maintaining high standards in housekeeping, keen attention to detail, and substantial experience in managing housekeeping operations.

As the Head of Housekeeping, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of housekeeping services within the estate. In this hands-on, active role, your responsibilities will include; ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities. You will be responsible for managing housekeeping staff, organising work schedules, and implementing quality control measures. Additionally, the Head of Housekeeping plays a crucial role in maintaining the overall ambiance and standards of Carberry Tower, contributing significantly to the positive experience of our guests. Our Mansion House is composed of 30 guest bedrooms, 3 public lounges, and 6 event spaces.

At least one year of relevant experience (in a similar role) required and references upon request.

The contract is for a 40 hr, 5 days per week role, which does include weekend work.
