Examples of employment tasks:
1. Producing rotas every two weeks and ensuring annual leave and sickness is covered. Moving people to different departments as needed.
2. Interviews/Inductions/6, 12 and 24 weeks assessments on new staff.
3. Return to work meetings.
4. Supervisions and appraisals on ancillary staff.
5. Weekly orders and checking of stock. invoices/deliveries.
6. Preparing show rooms.
7. Environment/ICP/H&S audits, using templates provided.
8. Assisting with room changes/clearing out of vacant rooms.
9. Attend everyone @1 meetings on a Monday - action any areas of repair or decoration that Unit Managers report in the meeting.
10. Weekly walk arounds and stock take of linen/crockery and care items. Putting things back in right locations.
11. Supporting Maintenance with any projects and conducting risk assessments as required
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
Experience managing teams.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Team player.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group.
Satisfactory enhanced DBS Check and where applicable a check against the DBS First List.
DESIRED:
Previous experience of working in a similar role with the relevant Client group
QCF/NVQ level 4 (Team leader).
Willingness to undergo further extensive training to improve knowledge and care standards within the home.
