Are you ready to lead the future of HR in Rotherham?
We're looking for a visionary and experienced Head of HR (Policy & Operations) to shape and deliver a high-performing, customer-focused HR service that supports our ambitious Workforce Strategy.
As a key member of the HR Senior Management Team, you'll lead a team of senior HR professionals, driving transformation, continuous improvement, and excellence in service delivery. You'll act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, providing expert advice on complex people issues, workforce planning, and organisational change.
This is a pivotal role in ensuring our people management practices are inclusive, future-focused, and aligned with business outcomes. You'll lead on policy development, provide oversight on complex employee relations cases, and ensure robust compliance and risk mitigation across the Council.
We're looking for someone with substantial HR leadership experience, a strong track record in managing change, and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including trade unions and regional partners.
For an informal discussion about the role with Lynsey Linton, Assistant Director HR, please contact Alysia Roberts in the first instance via Alysia.Roberts@rotherham.gov.uk.
