Up to 95,000 (depending on experience) + bonus and benefits

As our new Head of Internal Audit, you'll have the opportunity to manage a talented team of auditors and truly evolve how internal audit operates across our global business.


This is your chance to make a real impact. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive internal audit plan that aligns with Specsavers' objectives, risk profile, and regulatory requirements. You'll lead the planning and execution of audits across financial, operational, and IT processes, ensuring that our audit approach is innovative, risk-based, and always adding value. You'll work closely with senior management and the board, providing clear, actionable insights and recommendations that drive meaningful change. You'll also be the go-to expert for governance, controls, and risk advice on key business initiatives and transformation programmes.


We're looking for a strategic leader with a strong accountancy or internal audit background. You must be professionally qualified either ACA, ACCA, or CIIA with a wealth of commercial experience post-qualification experience in audit, risk, or assurance. You'll have a proven track record of leading and motivating audit teams, developing audit methodologies, and delivering high-quality audit services in a complex, fast-changing environment. Your ability to communicate complex findings with clarity, influence senior stakeholders, and build trust at all levels will be key. You'll also need strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the confidence to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
