About the role
Our Wealth & Trading team is at the forefront of redefining how people invest, using data-driven tools to make smarter financial decisions accessible to everyone. We operate with precision and expertise, building cutting-edge solutions that empower customers worldwide.
We're looking for a Head of Investment Research to drive the development of an automated quantamental research engine. You'll set the agenda, lead a cross-functional team, and turn data into high-conviction, scalable calls via rigorously tested models.

What you'll be doing
Leading and setting the research standard and agenda for the multidisciplinary Investment Research team
Overseeing the development of an automated quantamental framework that blends fundamental insights and quantitative factors into insightful investment recommendations
Guiding analysts and quants through the full research lifecycle, including problem scoping, data acquisition, experimental design, back-testing, and performance attribution
Integrating macroeconomic trends and sector-specific insights into the recommendation engine to deliver relevant, contextualised advice
Ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards surrounding investment advice and financial promotions
What you'll need
10+ years of experience in quantitative/systematic research, including 3+ years leading teams or complex projects
Solid knowledge in quantitative finance and empirical research methods, alongside solid corporate-finance and fundamental-analysis skills
Demonstrated ability to build and validate factor models, run large-scale back-tests, and translate statistical findings into actionable investment theses
Impressive Python skills and familiarity with statistical packages and cloud data stacks
A degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, econometrics, or another highly quantitative field
Nice to have
CFA qualifications or significant progress toward the certification
Familiarity with long-term, fundamentals-driven strategies, such as buy-and-hold approaches
