As Head of Key Account Management, you will lead the strategic growth and retention of high-value corporate clients across the UK and Europe. This is a dynamic, full-spectrum role combining leadership, relationship management, and new business development. You'll manage a team of senior account managers, drive commercial performance, and act as a trusted advisor to client, delivering tailored FX and financial solutions that create measurable value.


You'll bring deep market insight, a consultative mindset, and a passion for helping clients navigate currency risk and optimise their international financial operations.

What you'll do:



Team Leadership: Inspire, coach, and manage a high-performing team of senior account managers. Client Growth & Retention: Own and expand a portfolio of strategic corporate clients, ensuring long-term engagement and satisfaction. New Business Development: Build and convert your own pipeline of corporate prospects, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding. Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to identify and win new opportunities, contributing to revenue growth targets. Account Strategy: Define and execute the strategic approach to key account management, aligning with broader commercial goals. Product & Proposition Development: Collaborate with Product and Leadership teams to enhance our offering based on client feedback and market trends. Consultative Selling: Deliver bespoke risk management strategies and financial solutions tailored to client needs. Insight & Analysis: Provide clients and internal stakeholders with relevant FX market commentary and financial insights. Risk Management: Monitor and manage credit exposure and trade risk across your portfolio.


Qualifications

What you bring:



7-10+ years of proven success in financial services sales, ideally within FX, payments, or treasury. Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly currency drivers and macroeconomic trends. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships. Experience in leading teams, with a focus on coaching and performance development. Consultative, solution-oriented approach to sales and client engagement. Skilled in developing account plans, client presentations, and commercial strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
