As part of the mydentist leadership team, this role will support the management of risk and accountability. It will be a critical deputy for the Chief of Staff & General Counsel on all complex legal matters

Your future, your role
As Head of Legal, you'll be:
Providing advice on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, litigation, employment law, intellectual property, and corporate governance, and instructing internal and external counsel as required
Working with key stakeholders and departments in a collaborative style to maintain legal compliance and uphold the integrity of mydentist at all times
Representing the company in legal proceedings and working with external counsel when necessary
Drafting, negotiating, and approving contracts, legal documents, and business template agreements as required
Leading the legal department, managing a team of legal professionals and support roles
You will have:
A bachelor's degree in law or a related field, acquired from an accredited institution
You will be a qualified Solicitor
In-depth legal expertise, with an understanding of legal principles and practices, alongside specific knowledge in the realm of contract law, employment law, intellectual property, and litigation
Previous people management and development experience
Corporate governance and/or company secretarial experience
