Role Overview
As
Head of Legal,
you'll lead the legal department and own the full legal agenda. From driving contract negotiations and ensuring compliance to advising leadership on regulatory strategy, you will be both a strategic partner and a hands-on expert. You will also be responsible for structuring and scaling legal processes, managing risk, and growing the internal legal function.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the legal team and external counsel relationships
Own the full lifecycle of commercial contracts--from drafting to execution
Provide strategic legal advice to the executive team across business functions
Oversee global licensing, compliance, and risk management initiatives
Ensure product and corporate activities align with applicable regulations
Handle claims, disputes, and represent the business in legal matters when necessary
Develop internal legal processes, policies, and governance frameworks
Requirements
5+ years of legal experience in-house or at a law firm, with leadership exposure
Deep knowledge of commercial, corporate, and regulatory legal matters in fintech
Strong experience negotiating and structuring commercial agreements
Fluent English (written and spoken); other languages a plus
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-border environment

Excellent communication with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
