Head of Major Loss South - Global Loss Adjusting Firm

Recruit Ins are seeking a

Head of Major Loss South

to lead regional operations for a global loss adjusting company. Reporting to the UK&I Head of Major Loss, you'll drive performance, process improvement, and client delivery across major commercial property claims (100k+).

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and enhance Major Loss processes and client delivery. Manage and mentor technical teams, identify training and recruitment needs. Lead and review claims from 100k-5m+ (including site visits, reporting, reserves, and client liaison). Ensure regional performance meets client SLAs, QA, and audit standards. Support Head of Commercial Property with technical matters, surge response, budgets, and staffing. Drive business development through strong insurer, broker, and client relationships.

Skills & Experience

Progress toward CII/CILA qualification. Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Proven stakeholder management and ability to handle complex claims. Self-motivated, organised, and commercially focused.
