Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Lead the College's Management Information Services (MIS) teams by creating, maintaining and developing systems and processes to meet the internal and external reporting requirements of the College. Provide advice, support and guidance on college systems and processes for student data and funding to maximise quality outcomes, funding generation, growth opportunities and ensure compliance with funders and regulators Provide leadership and management of the College's forecasting/planning functions associated with the College's student Provide leadership, advice and guidance on all funding related issues to managers and staff, to support strategic, operational and curriculum planning decision Manage the student records system to maintain accurate and timely information on student enrolment, attendance, retention and achievements as well as funding and fees generated from each Responsibility for ensuring that the College's internal data controls are robust, produce accurate and timely data, and meet internal and external requirements for funders, regulators and To ensure that the reporting requirements of the College are met in accordance with strategic and operational priorities.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

Proven ability to lead, manage and inspire a team of managers and corporate staff. Thorough knowledge and understanding of funding methodologies and associated funding streams. 16-19, ASF, Apprenticeships A sound knowledge and experience of the operation of funding and information systems, including complex relational databases within an educational environment. Thorough knowledge of the audit rules and regulations that govern the FE sector. Degree (or equivalent relevant experience demonstratable at this level in similar roles). English and Maths qualifications at level 2.
