Role
We're looking for a well-rounded, commercially minded and digitally experienced
Marketing Professional
to join the business on a
12 month-fixed term
basis to take ownership of all aspects of the marketing function. This is both a hands-on and strategic role with responsibility for ensuring that marketing drives revenue growth. Key focuses will be on reviewing and optimising digital channels and transforming how we capture, nurture, and convert leads, implementing CRM integrations, marketing automation and creating and driving the marketing strategy. Working closely with the sales team and colleagues across multiple departments, you will continue to positively promote the Mar-Key Group brand internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy
Lead the marketing function for the business and act as the point of contact for all marketing activities
Create, deliver and measure the marketing strategy to support business growth and revenue objectives
Report regularly to the CEO on marketing performance, ROI, and opportunities for improvement
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
Review the current performance of paid digital (Google and Microsoft Ads) campaign strategies, working closely with our digital agency to optimise spend and monitor/improve lead quality
Ensure campaigns are tracked, measured, and reported against clear KPIs
Identify opportunities for diversification where appropriate
CRM & Marketing Automation
Integrate Dynamics CRM with the website and all lead capture points
Implement lead scoring, segmentation, and automated nurture workflows to reduce manual workload and improve the prospect journey as they move through the sales funnel
Ensure CRM data is accurate, clean, and provides actionable insights
Build reporting dashboards to give visibility into the sales funnel and lead pipeline
Performance & Reporting
Define and implement benchmarks for cost per lead, lead-to-sale conversion, and channel ROI
Present regular performance reports to the leadership team
Provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing efficiency and impact
To be considered for this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Proven experience in management of the marketing function in its entirety
Proven experience in digital, CRM, and lead generation in a B2B environment
Hands-on experience with CRM integrations (MS Dynamics preferred) and marketing automation
Familiarity with website analytics tools (GA4, Tag Manager)
Ability to translate marketing data into commercial insights and decisions
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience of working autonomously as well as part of a close-knit sales and marketing team
Strong project management and prioritisation abilities
Ideal start date of 1st December
