Position Summary



The

Head of Marketing

at Fusion for Business (FFB) is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, customer retention, and revenue growth. This position oversees all aspects of marketing including brand, digital, PR, internal communications, campaigns, events, and partnerships ensuring that every initiative aligns with FFB's mission to empower UK businesses on their journey to

energy efficiency, sustainability, and net-zero

Reporting directly to the

Managing Director

, the Head of Marketing will lead a small, high performing marketing team and collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to deliver measurable impact across the full customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership



Develop and implement FFB's annual marketing strategy and calendar aligned with business objectives and growth targets (40% YoY).

Translate the company's mission and strategic goals into clear marketing plans with measurable KPIs.

Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximise ROI across all channels.

Act as the brand guardian for FFB, ensuring consistency of messaging, tone, and visual identity across all communications.

Represent Marketing at senior management meetings, providing data-driven insight and strategic input on company growth initiatives.

Brand & Communications



Oversee the evolution of FFB's brand positioning in the TPI (Third Party Intermediary) and energy consultancy space.

Ensure consistent, high-quality communication across all customer touchpoints (website, social media, proposals, email campaigns, internal comms, etc.).

Develop PR strategies that highlight FFB's achievements, partnerships, and community initiatives.

Manage internal communication campaigns to improve culture, engagement, and alignment with company values.

Lead Generation & Digital Marketing



Own the digital marketing funnel from awareness to conversion across paid, organic, and referral channels.

Lead on website strategy, SEO, PPC, and social media advertising to generate high-quality inbound leads.

Build and manage automated campaigns in CRM platforms to nurture prospects and reduce sales cycle time.

Partner with the sales team to create targeted outbound campaigns, vertical-specific landing pages, and collateral to support new business development.

Analyse campaign performance and optimise for cost-per-lead, conversion rates, and ROI.

Customer Retention & Growth



Collaborate with the Renewals and Customer Care teams to develop retention, referral, and cross-sell campaigns.

Produce customer-facing communications (newsletters, updates, case studies, and success stories) to drive loyalty and advocacy.

Manage brand reputation and online reviews across key platforms.

Content & Events



Oversee content creation for all marketing channels including blogs, press releases, videos, and email campaigns.

Plan and deliver company events, exhibitions, webinars, and sponsorships to increase visibility and engagement.

Build case studies and testimonials to highlight the success of FFB's energy-efficiency and sustainability solutions.

Team Leadership



Build a high functioning team.

Foster a performance-driven culture with clear accountability for KPIs and deliverables.

Manage agency and supplier relationships where required.

Skills & Experience Required



5+ years' experience in a senior marketing role (Head of Marketing, Marketing Manager, or similar), preferably in B2B or energy/consulting sectors.

Proven track record of building and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and CRM automation.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Experience managing budgets, agencies, and internal marketing resources.

Creative thinker with commercial acumen and strong analytical capability.

Confident working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
