Spire Global is seeking a strategic, hands-on Head of Marketing to lead our marketing function at the intersection of data services and satellite/platform sales. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing a high-performing, cross-functional team--including product marketers, creatives, demand generation specialists, and business development representatives (BDRs)--to build and execute a unified go-to-market strategy across commercial and government markets.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Team Leadership & Strategy
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning product marketing, creative, demand generation, and BDRs, fostering collaboration and performance.
Shape and implement a cohesive marketing vision that supports Spire's business goals across both data solutions and satellite platforms.
Collaborate with executive leadership, product, and sales to ensure alignment on GTM priorities, customer engagement strategies, and revenue growth targets.
Serve as a mentor and coach while remaining hands-on in strategic planning, messaging, and execution when needed.
Brand & Product Marketing:
Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market plans, working with product marketers to amplify product launches and customer stories.
Guide the creation of compelling product messaging and positioning, ensuring close collaboration with product, engineering, and sales to drive relevance and clarity.
Manage the sales enablement function, ensuring the team delivers high-impact presentations, pitch content, talk tracks, and competitive battlecards.
Own the content strategy and editorial calendar, balancing thought leadership, technical storytelling, and customer success narratives.
Provide creative leadership across internal and external resources for visuals, copy, video, UI/UX, and technical product representation (e.g., satellite models).
Ensure consistency across brand channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and website, while also measuring performance and engagement.
Lead event and conference strategy in collaboration with product and sales, ensuring our flagship presence supports GTM and brand objectives.
Partner with the communications team on PR, earned media, and thought leadership to elevate Spire's market perception and voice.
Demand Generation & Revenue Marketing:
Lead the demand generation function, managing integrated campaigns that span digital, ABM, content syndication, events, and paid media.
Oversee funnel execution and campaign performance using Salesforce and HubSpot, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
Drive strategy for paid media (search, social, display), optimizing for lead quality, cost efficiency, and deal conversion.
Coordinate lead qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT), and partner with the Sales Development and BDR teams to convert pipeline effectively.
Define and report on key metrics including funnel conversion, attribution, campaign ROI, and top-of-funnel growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in space, aerospace, defense, or deep tech sectors.
Demonstrated leadership of integrated marketing teams, with direct experience leading product marketing, demand gen, creative, and BDR/SDR functions.
Expertise in marketing to government and enterprise customers with long sales cycles and complex buying processes.
Strong storyteller with the ability to make technical content accessible and engaging.
Deep familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, paid media platforms, and content automation systems.
Proven ability to manage agencies, internal teams, and cross-functional partners across time zones and functions.
Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three business days per week in the office.
