Job Description

As we expand in the UK and Internationally we're looking for a Head of Marketing to set the vision and lead the strategy. You'll have the opportunity to influence our brand locally and globally working with our team to make a direct impact on our growth.

Newby Leisure designs, manufactures and distributes playgrounds and timber play equipment for schools and communities across the UK, Europe and beyond. Established over 25 years ago, the company has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and reliability.

Strategy Development:

Craft and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports overall business objectives

Campaign Execution:

Lead the creation and launch of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, content, social media, and advertising

Team Management:

Manage the marketing team, providing guidance and fostering professional development.

Budget Management:

Oversee and allocate the marketing budget effectively, ensuring profitable use of resources

Performance Analysis:

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of various marketing channels and campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.

Provide clear reporting to leadership, with insights and recommendations.

Brand Management:

Shape and maintain consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing activities

Market Research:

Conduct competitor analysis, review consumer behavior, and identify market opportunities for growth.

Strategic Partnerships:

Manage relationships with Google, web design teams, and promotional firms to drive brand visibility and marketing success.

Sales Support:

Provide sales teams with necessary marketing and content support.

Legislation

:
Ensuring that all current marketing and copyright regulations comply with accepted professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation.

Required Skills

A strong background in strategic marketing leadership Experience with SEO (desirable) Proven ability to lead and develop teams Flexibility and adaptability Confident in budget planning and resource management Strong analytical and reporting skills Expertise in digital marketing, content and social platforms Experience in brand positioning and messaging Comfortable building relationships with external companies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a full time position Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) and is based in our Grimsby office.

Salary dependent on experience and to be discussed at the interview.
