Are you a marketing expert ready to lead an established SME to new heights?
Do you know how to attract new customers by matching creative experimentation with cold hard data? Would you get excited at the idea of building brand and community alongside revenue? Do you get a thrill from measuring and optimising activity to continually improve profitability?
Good, because we could really do with someone like you at Analogue Wonderland!
We're looking for someone who knows how to take our customer base and brand to the next level - working as part of a small passionate team in our goal to bring the soul back to photography!
About the gig:
Ideally full time
with at least 1 day a week working from our offices in High Wycombe, but you can do 5 days in the office if that's more your thing! We will also consider part-time (4 days) applications for the position - if we believe that the applicant will be able to deliver the necessary impact within a shorter schedule*
Strengthening and refining our acquisition channel
, leading freelancers and in-house staff to reach new customers with our vision of making film photography fun and accessible for everyone - all at a profitable rate.
Owning customer lifetime value
, overseeing the full customer journey - across purchasing cameras and films, developing and scanning the images, ordering prints, and returning for more film - in a way that enhances their experience of analogue photography.
Running partnerships
with suppliers, community groups, and photography brands to deliver incredible experiences and unbeatable value for film photographers.
Leading the marketing strategy
that defines the future of AW! By being the person who best understands where our current and future customers spend their time, what they enjoy doing, how they experience photography - you will be in charge of crafting the plans each year to grow the business and mapping the requirements and resources to make it happen.
Working as part of the AW leadership team.
You'll be in one of the most visible positions in a small, growing company, regularly working with the entire team as well as your direct reports and our board of directors. Think: leading by example, happy to work with people at every level, and confident sharing results and your future plans.
As well as our analogue film business, you'll also be working to grow our
Papershoot UK
business, owning all the above but on a smaller scale for an exciting global brand that we're excited to be bringing to the UK! This brand has small numbers but HUGE potential in the UK market, and you'll be at the forefront of making this a reality.
About you:
You'll have at least 5 year's experience in
B2C ecommerce marketing,
with a proven track record of implementing strategies to drive customer numbers and revenue.
You have a background in customer acquisition, with specific experience of managing PPC and Meta ads.
You don't need to have been a 'Head of' before, we're happy for people to apply that are looking to take the 'next step up'.
You're data-driven, building custom reports and tracking to keep yourself and the wider business on track. You're confident working with that data to provide insights to others, and talking about it with people at every level of the business.
You're organised, self-motivated, and able to work to deadlines. We'll be looking for you to own the revenue delivery for a busy e-commerce company, which means working with our teams in ops, the lab, supply, finance - so being proactive and clear with communication across functions is essential.
You have the ability to directly manage and develop junior marketers - helping raise the bar for performance across the company. You'll be owning development plans and team KPIs, as well as sharing your experience and mentoring talent to build marketing capability.
Not a deal breaker, but if you're already passionate about analogue film or mindful photography then that'd be great! Otherwise, be willing to nerd up on all things film.
We're a small, passionate team united by something we love. If you geek out over a good acquisition campaign, if you're passionate about growing a business by providing amazing value to customers, and if you want to help us share our love of mindful photography with the world... then we'd love to hear from you.
Cheers, Paul - Analogue Wonderland
