A rare opportunity for an experienced Head of Marketing within Andrews Property Group (Estate Agency Group) has become available! The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing the team, developing key relationships with senior managers, supporting our business-to-consumer and business-to-business divisions and channelling marketing efforts. The role holder will be required to understand business requirements and translate them to create and implement marketing campaigns. This position is located at the Head Office in Keynsham full-time 37.5 hrs a week Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30 pm and will involve leading and working alongside the team to apply high-level messaging and strategy to create communication collateral materials. Working with the materials from concept to production, the role holder will be responsible for developing content and project managing all related deliverables. The role holder is required to work as practical, hands-on on and output-driven member of the senior management team. The role of Head of Marketing is crucial for the business and the successful candidate will be responsible for Managing the activities of the Marketing Team and developing the profitability of business groups through the development and management of innovative marketing campaigns. In addition, the role holder will also drive a complete range of communications in line with corporate strategy using all parts of the mix and implement projects utilizing a commercial approach and clear focus on results. This position is responsible for strategic planning and managing/executing integrated marketing communications as a result of identifying trends and new business opportunities. The successful candidate will have experience in analyzing current marketing and media relations efforts as well as researching ongoing branding initiatives. The role holder must exhibit excellent interpersonal, leadership and motivational skills to successfully implement media strategy and communication plans. Why Us?   • Manage marketing projects from briefing and strategic development through to targeting data, planning & production, creative briefing, artwork origination, print, delivery and results analysis.
  • Agree, implement, monitor and report the effectiveness of the company communication strategy, which covers all aspects of internal and external communication.
  • Develop a PR strategy
  • Assist in the development of a company-wide marketing strategy.
  • Consistently monitor the marketplace understand marketing communications trends and apply that knowledge to recommend new marketing communications strategies/vehicles.
  • Implement communications processes that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing communications development and implementation.
  • Manage external communications agency relationships to create marketing communications that deliver upon strategies and drive results.
  • Manage a timely and cost-effective print buying and production service.
  • Continue to expand internal communication and provide advice and direction to establish a communication style that supports the positive climate of the employee.
  • Develop a clear and consistent communications style for Andrews.
  • Maintain and develop Andrews\xe2\x80\x99 corporate identity by creating guidelines for all printed material including advertising, direct mail, property details, property bulletins, stationery, and branch refurbishments and create appropriate monitoring procedures to ensure they are adhered to.
Management
  • Management of the Marketing function to include delivery of one to ones, appraisals and performance reviews.
  • Manage external suppliers, ensuring a high quality and cost-effective service at all times.
  • Where possible, analyse the effectiveness of marketing initiatives from a statistical, cost and subjective point of view using field and desk market research techniques.
  • Propose, agree and maintain a marketing expenditure budget. Optimize the marketing budget to efficiently deliver objectives.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals who are responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Work with team members to implement a marketing communications process which facilitates the efficient development and execution of marketing communications.
Key Skill Requirements
  • Proven experience as a head of marketing/marketing director
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, techniques, and best practices
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools
  • Proficiency in market research, data analysis and reporting
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Self-management and drive
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Methodical, problem-solver, and a real eye for detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications,
  • Marketing related degree or CIM recognised qualification preferred.
  • Proven track record of management of a Marketing function, with particular focus on Marketing Communications
  • Proven track record designing and implementing marketing materials products and services
  • Exceptionally strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate concepts, messages and strategies
  • Experience in all channels of marketing including online, electronic direct mail, webinars, seminars, collateral development and advertising
  • Effective management skills and must possess a collaborative style to motivate individuals and teams to achieve goals and contribute their best work
  • Skilled in working effectively with creative talent in order to achieve the highest standards in all marketing materials
  • Experience in conducting, analysing and utilising market research
  • Expertise in planning and development of marketing communications materials.
  • Experience with creative design, content development and management, printing, publishing, fulfilment and distribution.
  • Knowledge and understanding of content management systems.
  • Experience in conversion of printed collateral to web delivery.
  • Proven track record of budget management.
  • Experience in business to business executions.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Must be well organised, detail oriented, deadline driven and good at relationship building.
  • Ability to work across the organization at all levels
