Role Overview
We're hiring a
hands-on, commercially aware Head of Marketing
to lead and deliver TruTrade's multi-channel marketing strategy. You'll manage the full campaign lifecycle -- from planning and content creation to performance tracking and optimisation -- while overseeing a growing internal team and a network of external specialists.

It's not just a management role: you'll be actively creating, iterating, and improving our marketing engine.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Leadership & Execution
Own and run day-to-day marketing operations across all digital channels
Line-manage and mentor the Marketing Executive
-- guiding their growth in campaign delivery, content creation, and performance tracking
Build a structured development plan for the exec, setting clear goals and offering regular feedback and support
Delegate campaign ownership with increasing autonomy, while maintaining brand and performance standards
Manage agency/contractor relationships: media buying, creative, branding, video, etc.
Build quarterly marketing plans aligned to business and sales priorities
Collaborate with product, sales and operations to keep messaging and assets aligned
Drive measurable campaign outcomes: engagement, acquisition, and retention
Digital Campaign Delivery
Plan, launch and optimise multi-channel campaigns across:
LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram (Meta)
Google Ads and paid search
Landing pages, email sequences, and nurture flows
Understand full funnel performance -- from awareness to conversion
Continuously test creative, copy, and audiences to improve ROI
Occasionally drive
low-volume offline campaigns
(POS, co-branded collateral)
Content Creation & Brand Consistency
Own the TruTrade brand voice and ensure consistency across all touchpoints
Develop copy and creative concepts across ads, email, posts, landing pages, etc.
Turn internal success stories into marketable case studies
Brief external creators when needed -- and guide execution to meet brand standards

Work directly with their
Marketing Director and Leadership Team
to:
Develop joint co-branded campaigns
Share insights and performance data
Identify creative and commercial opportunities for mutual growth
Provide strategic input on tone of voice, brand alignment, and customer messaging
Serve as project owner for this partnership -- managing activity and deliverables
Negotiate scope and campaign terms collaboratively, ensuring win-win outcomes
Influence senior stakeholders with clear communication, insight, and execution focus
Performance, Insight & Collaboration
Define and track marketing KPIs: CTR, CAC, CVR, ROI
Analyse funnel and campaign performance to inform decisions
Share insights with the
product and dev teams
to optimise in-app conversions
Provide clear monthly reporting to leadership on wins, gaps, and next steps
Use insights to evolve messaging, test new formats, and find growth levers
What You Bring
6+ years of experience in marketing, with both
execution and leadership exposure
Proven track record of running
multi-channel digital campaigns
with clear outcomes
Strong understanding of
paid media
, targeting, creative testing, and audience building
Comfort with hands-on content creation: ad copy, email, visuals, scripts
Experience managing external vendors and agencies
Commercial acumen and confidence interacting at
executive level
Ability to lead partner relationships with
joint branding and creative oversight
Strong communicator -- able to align teams, present insights, and drive clarity
Bonus: experience in B2B, SaaS, or construction/materials sector

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
