Job Description

You're our Head of Marketing! You're a strategic marketing leader. You'll own and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with the agency's growth objectives. You'll have a strong blend of leadership, strategic planning, brand management, and hands-on oversight across multiple channels. You will be responsible for driving brand visibility, thought leadership, lead generation, and agency growth, while leading a high-performing team.

Strategy & Leadership




Develop, lead, and continually refine the marketing strategy to align with the agency's long-term growth and revenue objectives. Set measurable goals and KPIs across brand, digital, content, and campaign initiatives. Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resource allocation drives maximum ROI through data-driven decision making. Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall business goals and financial targets. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team, including external agencies or freelancers. Build processes and team efficiencies to drive next-level departmental performance, client engagement, and commercial success.

Brand, Campaigns & Market Presence




Own and evolve the agency's brand voice, visual identity, and market positioning. Manage the agency's website to ensure it effectively communicates the value proposition, ranks competitively, and converts visitors into leads. Plan and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns (SEO, PPC, social media, email, PR, events) to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and client engagement. Build relationships with media, PR contacts, and industry partners to enhance the agency's reputation and visibility. Drive event strategy, including hosting, attending, and sponsoring industry events that boost our brand profile.

Content & Thought Leadership




Build and implement a robust content strategy to position the agency as a thought leader in its industry. Oversee the creation of high-quality blogs, whitepapers, case studies, landing pages, and multimedia assets. Position key agency leaders and team members as thought leaders via speaking engagements, webinars, guest articles, and public appearances. Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor movements to keep the marketing strategy innovative and forward-thinking.

Resource Management & Reporting




Manage resourcing across the department, ensuring recruitment, onboarding, and team development align with strategic needs. Oversee external costs and agency partnerships to ensure budget efficiency and strategic alignment. Track, analyse, and report on all marketing activities, delivering actionable insights to optimise performance and influence future strategies. Own and monitor departmental commercial targets and KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement against business goals.

Continuous Professional Development




Stay updated with the latest marketing innovations, technologies, and best practices. Invest in personal and team development to continuously raise the standard of marketing leadership within the agency.

What we need from you




Demonstrable experience as a Head of Marketing in a B2B tech, digital agency, or eCommerce environment. Proven track record in strategic marketing leadership, brand building, demand generation, and digital marketing. Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with expertise in marketing performance metrics. Creative, results-driven thinker with the ability to manage both strategy and execution. Experience managing budgets, resources, and a multidisciplinary marketing team. Proficiency with tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, CMS platforms, and social scheduling tools. * Comfortable representing the brand in public-facing opportunities, including speaking engagements and video content.
