Job Description


A leading financial services company in London are looking for a new Head of Marketing. This is a new role and it is a permanent position, paying up to 90k. You will have 4 direct reports

  • Design marketing plans which help Premium deliver both its short-term and longer-term business objectives.
  • Develop Premium\'s marketing channels to ensure the appropriate channel mix based on performance and ROI. The channel mix includes but is not limited to: digital marketing, industry events, print, PR, sponsorship and brand marketing.
  • Oversee the development of campaigns which support prospecting (growth marketing), onboarding, and retention.
  • Support Sales with pitches and tenders.
  • Oversee the delivery of Premium\'s brand marketing plan (to include PR and social media), building and developing a brand measurement framework to track and monitor brand equity.
  • Build appropriate metrics to measure marketing activity to prove activity value and ensure a plan/do/review mentality is embedded across the Marketing team with clear measurable outcomes attached to all activities.
  • Own the end-to-end customer journey, working with the Head of Insight and key stakeholders in Product and Operations to build positive customer experiences which are based on insight and which generate good customer outcomes. Drive improvements in Net Ease scores.
  • Be the voice of the customer and partner in key forums, or in relation to issues or incidents, putting their needs at the heart of creative design, communications, or propositional messaging.
  • Ensure Premium\'s internal comms framework is delivered and work with HR and the local Colleague Forum to positively influence colleague engagement.
  • Oversee key supplier relationships and build an adequate agency roster to cover media buying, digital marketing, brand activity, PR, and creative design.

  • Senior marketing leadership experience leading successful B2B and B2B2C marketing teams, within a regulated environment
  • Can evidence brand and revenue growth
  • A \'big picture\' thinker, someone who can focus on both \'the now\' and the future
  • Experience of marketing automation, ideally via Pardot and Salesforce
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to develop diverse teams
  • Good at influencing and has experience of working within a senior leadership team who are accountable for developing both business strategy and running a business day-to-day
  • Solid commercial acumen - needs to be comfortable developing business cases
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Hands on and willing to \'get involved\' when needed
  • Strong organisational skills
