The role
Bon Appetit is seeking a proactive and creatively skilled
Head of Marketing
to take full ownership of our Marketing function. This is a strategic and hands-on role that covers the full marketing mix making it an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Marketing Generalist.
The role requires a strong grasp of both digital and traditional Marketing methods; you will be managing our social media channels, building and sending targeted email campaigns, updating and refining website content and creating marketing assets and visuals. You will also be responsible for producing regular newsletters and crafting campaign messaging for our seasonal offers and brand promotions.
With a thriving loyalty app that engages over 40,000 users, you will be overseeing all of the in-app content, promotions and push notifications, while continuously optimising the user experience.
As Head of Marketing, collaboration is key - this position works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate marketing activity, maintain the marketing calendar, plan and execute events, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
This position
does not
involve people management, so it's ideal for someone with several years' experience as a Marketing Generalist, who is focused on taking the next step in developing their career as a Marketing expert.
What you'll be doing
Leading the end to end planning, design and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns
Managing all digital and traditional marketing activity, including:
Social media content and scheduling
Email marketing including design, build, and dispatch
Website updates and edits
Push notifications and app content
Newsletter creation for internal and external audiences
Marketing graphics for proposals and promotions
Working with our tech partners in supporting the backend app management and user testing
Refining our brand messaging and copy for offers, seasonal campaigns and customer engagement
Maintaining the Marketing calendar and planning company events and initiatives
Collaborating with internal teams e.g. Operations, Site Managers and our Marketing Assistant and external partners e.g. agencies, developers, suppliers and designers
Reporting on campaign results and performance reviews, reporting directly into the Directors
Acting as Bon Appetit's brand guide ensuring visual and written consistency across all channels
What we're looking for
Experience:
2.5+ years in a Marketing Generalist role, ideally in the food & beverages, catering or hospitality industries
Tech-savvy:
Comfortable using Adobe Suite, InDesign, Acrobat, CMS platforms, and campaign tools such as Komo, or similar app systems
Creative autonomy:
Good graphic design and copywriting skills; confidence in presenting and bringing your ideas to life
Agility:
Able to work across multiple campaigns and pivot priorities quickly
Collaborative mindset:
Confident in influencing internal and external stakeholders
Ownership and initiative:
A self-starter who can independently manage workloads, timelines and outputs
Organisation:
Demonstrable project management skills and organisation
