Job Description

Own, develop, plan and deliver a cutting edge (predominantly B2B) marketing strategy to promote the Contra Vision brand and products across the world and differentiate us from our competitors.

Contra Vision are the inventors of one-way vision graphics products (ever noticed advertising on the outside of bus/tram windows which do not block the view when you are inside?) and do business across the world. www.contravision.com

The company has operated for over 40 years and employ 25 people in different countries including around 15 people in our Bramhall office. The Head of Marketing will manage two people including a Digital Marketing manager based in the UK and Marketing Communications manager based in the US.

10 years' experience in a marketing role is a minimum requirement for this position, with extensive experience of multi stakeholder management, defining and agreement requirements and delivering them efficiently.

Key accountabilities and activities:

1.Own the brand, website and content plan globally

2.Manage and oversee the marketing team, including marketing consultants, to deliver high quality content and deliverables. Set individual objectives and ensure the team has a strategic direction as well as being task focussed. Establish and maintain a best practice marketing function which works to an agreed brief which is owned by the business

3.Establish closer relationships and insight with our distributors to establish effective marketing channels

4.Take direct responsibility or delegate responsibility for key marketing activities including the website, events, email marketing and social media.

5.Set business requirements for marketing consultancy and manage relationships, including the project to elevate our brand marketing led by Director of Marketing Comms

6.Direct marketing activity to "grow the market"

7.Train and develop the marketing team to build leadership behaviours and core marketing skills and plan for succession.

Key competencies:

1.Management and execution of marketing strategies and projects

2.Experience in international marketing, ideally in north American market.

3.Excellent understanding of customer requirements and market developments

4.Networking with clients to build strong and lasting relationships

5.Good at engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders at Board level

6.Understands the value of products and services and how best to position these within the market to generate maximum return

7. Excellent listening skills to recognise and pull together ideas and creativity from various sources.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
