Blue A Group is a friendly, people-focused company working across asbestos surveying, licensed asbestos removal, reinstatement services and a newly launched solar energy division. We have a genuinely supportive team culture and are now looking for a talented Head of Marketing to take our brand to the next level.

The Role

This is a key strategic position where you will take full ownership of the marketing function, currently overseen by the Managing Director. You will shape our multi-brand marketing strategy, manage a substantial budget and drive measurable growth across both established and new divisions.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

Lead marketing across all companies Develop high-impact, data-driven strategies Manage and scale a 250K-500K annual budget Oversee SEO, PPC, social media and multi-channel campaigns Manage Checkatrade, Bark, TrustATrader, Rated People etc. Improve websites, landing pages and customer journeys Use AI and automation tools effectively (e.g., ChatGPT)

Sales & Growth Enablement

Support and optimise the full sales funnel Improve conversion rates and lead handling systems Build dashboards, KPIs and performance reports Collaborate with customer service and operations teams

Leadership & Independence

Work confidently with minimal supervision Make data-driven decisions Lead projects independently and deliver measurable results

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

Several years in a Marketing Manager / Head of Marketing role Strong background in service-based industries Proven experience with lead-gen, SEO, PPC and paid ads Ability to manage large budgets and scale campaigns Deep understanding of sales psychology and customer journey Confident using AI tools for marketing Comfortable working independently and taking ownership

Preferred

Experience in construction, trades, environmental services, home services, or renewable energy Familiarity with Checkatrade / Bark / similar platforms
