We are looking to recruit a talented Head of Marketing on a full-time, permanent basis.

Job title: Head of Marketing

Location: Birmingham

Salary: \xc2\xa370,000-\xc2\xa375,000

Contract: Full-time, permanent, hybrid (2 days per week in office)

Start date: August - November 2023

The role:

You will lead a large marketing function and work strategically to deliver marketing initiatives across a variety of sectors that will support the organisation\'s overall business objectives.

This is a delivery-focused role where you will be responsible for the overall delivery and performance of the organisation\'s marketing function. Partnerships, leadership, performance management and a strong B2C and B2C marketing background are key to the success of this role.

Key requirements:

• Lead and coordinate marketing activities aligned with priorities and business plans.
• Take responsibility for the overall marketing budget
• Ensure marketing KPIs and performance across teams is being tracked and are being tracked and achieved
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to attract businesses and visitors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maximise campaign impact.
• Ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all marketing channels.
• Conduct relevant market research that will support the organisations overall business plan
• Work with internal teams such as Head of PR and Comms to ensure alignment of campaigns and messaging
• Drive marketing initiatives for conferences, exhibitions, and major sports events in the region.

Candidate criteria:

• Previous experience within a strategic, senior leadership marketing position
• Experience within a delivery focused marketing position
• Strong analytical and performance reporting experience
• Previous experience analysing market research/trends
• Previous experience leading a large marketing team within various teams
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Excellent knowledge on the West Midlands region
• Proactive and encouraging leader within a delivery focused role
• Experience within B2B and B2C marketing
• Excellent and demonstrable leadership skills, and solution focussed rather than problem orientated
• Broad marketing knowledge across traditional and digital marketing
