Duties

Develop and implement innovative curricula for Maths and English that meet educational standards and cater to diverse learning needs. Educate students through engaging lessons, ensuring they grasp key concepts and skills in both subjects. Lead, mentor, and support a team of teachers, providing guidance on instructional strategies and professional development. Monitor student progress through assessments and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate with other departments to integrate cross-curricular initiatives that enrich the educational experience. Organise and participate in school events, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings to promote community engagement. Stay updated with educational trends and best practices in Maths and English instruction.

Requirements

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) with specialisation in Maths or English. Proven experience in a teaching role, with a strong understanding of curriculum development. Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire both students and staff. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning. Experience in leadership or management within an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
