This Position reports to:


Global Head of FP&A, Robotics

In this role, you will lead ABB Robotics' Cash and Net Working Capital management, driving excellence in forecasting, reporting, and optimization of key balance sheet and cash metrics. You will own the end-to-end process for Net Working Capital (NWC), Operating Free Cash Flow (OFCF), and related KPIs, ensuring transparency and performance improvement across Product Groups and regions. You will collaborate closely with Treasury, Accounting, and Operations to identify and implement cash-enhancing actions. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will also play a key role in business valuation, capital efficiency and balance sheet optimization.

The preferred location is within Europe.

You will be mainly accountable for:



Cash & NWC Management:

Lead reporting, forecasting, and budgeting of NWC and OFCF; ensure accuracy, consistency, and actionable insights on cash conversion.

Performance Analysis:

Monitor DSO, DPO, inventory turns, and overdue metrics; propose and track improvement initiatives with Business Line Controllers and Operations.

Action Plans:

Work cross-functionally to develop and implement improvement plans on inventory management, collection processes, and supplier payment optimization.

Treasury Collaboration:

Partner with Treasury on cash optimization solutions such as factoring, reverse factoring, and supply-chain financing.

Valuation & Capital Efficiency:

Conduct business valuation, capital efficiency, and ROCE analysis; benchmark Robotics' performance against peers.

Forecasting & Governance:

Integrate cash and working capital processes into the FP&A calendar and ensure governance of assumptions and methodologies.

Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with the CFO, Treasury, Accounting, and Business Line leaders to drive cash discipline and embed cash culture across the organization.

Qualifications for the role:



University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with at least 8-10 years of international finance/FP&A/Cash experience, with strong exposure to Net Working Capital and Balance Sheet analysis At least 5 years of FP&A and/or Net Working Capital experience in multinational complex organizations, with prior involvement in spin-offs, carve-outs, IPO readiness, or major finance transformation projects being a plus. Strong proficiency in finance systems and reporting tools, with solid knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP/IFRS. Exceptional rigor and attention to detail, with to steer a large group of stakeholders with clarity ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders and support strategic decision-making. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to act as a trusted business partner, challenge stakeholders constructively, and work effectively in a fast-paced, transformational environment; fluent in English.
