Salary:

60,000 - 65,000

About the Role:

As Head of Operations and Projects at Focus Agency Group, you'll oversee all operational aspects of design, fit-out, and construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, profitably, on time, and to the highest standards. This strategic, hands-on role combines daily project oversight with developing scalable systems, teams, and processes that enable sustainable growth. You'll collaborate closely with the Head of Design and Head of Projects, driving operational excellence and a high-performing culture through strong leadership and example.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Project Leadership

Oversee all live projects from pre-construction to handover Lead project, installation and contract management teams High-level programming, capacity planning & risk management Act as

Deputy for the Managing Director

when required

Commercial & Financial Control

Full ownership of project profitability Operational budgets, forecasting & cost control Oversee procurement & build a strong supplier framework

Processes, Systems & Compliance

Uphold, improve & audit all operational procedures Implement SOPs, reporting dashboards & digital systems Lead all

Health & Safety & CDM compliance

People & Culture

Lead, develop & mentor delivery teams Manage onboarding for all new starters across projects Drive accountability, performance & positive culture

Client & Stakeholder Management

Handle escalations & conflict resolution Build strong relationships with clients, consultants & subcontractors Provide clear reporting to the MD on risks, issues & performance

Requirements:

7+ years in a senior operations role (construction, fit-out, interiors, or related sector) Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects (100k-5m) Strong leadership, commercial, and financial acumen Excellent understanding of CDM, H&S, and quality standards
