We are an internationally renowned Art Foundry owing our success to the high standards of quality and expertise we bring to the industry. To help maintain and grow this standard, we are recruiting an experienced bespoke manufacturing Head of Operations to oversee daily activities, improve our efficiency and optimise our production through better organisational processes.
This newly created role is for a strategic operator to join our Central Leadership Team to help us build on our structure and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven success in managing multiple departments to achieve maximum productivity in an artistic industry.
Key areas of the role
Overseeing daily operations, managing a skilled artisan team to ensure quality control meets the criteria of our individual client specifications.
Assist with the quoting process, producing accurate manufacturing costings, ROI calculations, and process justifications.
Working with the Directors and the Central Leadership Team to ensure cohesion across all departments, including the wider teams such as logistics and administration.
Develop and implement operational strategies to support growth, cost control, and profitability targets.
Track performance metrics, implement new processes to improve productivity, reduce waste and enhance overall efficiency whilst identifying areas of underperformance and create plans for improvement, address these issues with the CLT (Central Leadership Team).
About you
Confident, natural people leader with the ability to discuss, influence and persuade at all levels.
Proven track records of developing and executing successful operational strategies.
Degree in Business Administration Management or similar is desirable.
Qualified by experience in a similar or manufacturing environment.
Ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities.
Knowledge of the casting process would be advantageous.
Proven managerial skills.
