Equans UK is looking for a new

Head of Operations

to join our Equans Digital Business based from our London office on a hybrid working arrangement.

Role overview



The Head of Operations - Infrastructure Services will lead the operational delivery of all infrastructure services projects across the UK and Ireland within Equans Digital. This includes environmental monitoring, digital solutions, geotechnical monitoring, environmental services, consulting, and multi-technical projects. The role ensures operational excellence, compliance with governance frameworks, and strong people leadership.

Key activities



Drive efficient and effective delivery of infrastructure services projects across UK & Ireland. Ensure alignment with Equans' trading framework and core principles. Lead project review meetings and manage CVR processes to maintain financial performance. Foster a high-performance culture through strong leadership and team development. Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards across all operations Oversee day-to-day operations for all infrastructure services projects. Manage project governance, financial controls, and risk mitigation strategies. Lead and develop operational teams, ensuring resource optimization and capability building. Conduct project reviews and CVRs to monitor performance and profitability. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align operational delivery with business objectives. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Skills, qualifications & experience



Master's degree in Engineering Chartered status with a recognized professional body (such as ICE, IMechE, or equivalent) Proven experience in operational leadership within infrastructure or technical services Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards is critical Specific expertise in environmental monitoring, geotechnical solutions, and multi-technical projects is highly desirable
