About the role

As head of operations, you lead a dedicated team to manage all aspects of payroll processing, including pensions, HMRC compliance, statutory payments, and year-end activity. You are accountable for system integrity, risk management, and audit readiness, while also driving continuous improvement and contributing to wider transformation across HR, finance, and digital services.

About you

We're looking for someone with experience delivering a monthly payroll, with a strong knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements for tax and pensions. Experience leading and managing a payroll team is desirable, but not required
