The Opportunity




We're looking for an operational leader to take responsibility for our Ready-Mix operations across Scotland and the North of England, overseeing 24 sites and playing a key role in shaping operational excellence across the region.


Reporting to the Regional Director, this is a highly influential leadership role where you'll shape performance, drive operational excellence, champion safety, and support our ambition to lead the market in sustainable construction. You'll lead a large operational team, ensuring safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective delivery while developing talent and building a culture of performance and accountability.

What you'll be doing



Managing operational performance across 24 sites, ensuring reliability, cost control, and delivery against budget and strategic targets. Leading, developing, and motivating operational teams, building capability, nurturing talent, and shaping a strong succession pipeline. Driving continuous improvement in efficiency, productivity, quality, and equipment performance across the network. Leading Health, Safety & Environmental excellence across the region, setting standards through visible leadership and strong partnership with HSE colleagues.

Who you are



You're an experienced operational leader, with demonstrable experience leading safe operations and influencing a safety culture. You'll be commercially astute, and confident managing a P&L and performance against KPI's. You'll be a collaborative leader, able to influence at a senior level whilst empowering and developing your teams.
