Head of Partner Engagement - Europe & Lloyd's Wholesale

Job Summary:
Beazley is looking for a dynamic candidate for the role of Head of Partner Engagement, Lloyd's Wholesale. In this role, you will lead of team of colleagues in the US and Canada. You will be responsible for the strategic design and execution of broker partnership agreements and distribution plans with our underwriting teams
In collaboration with Head of Partner Engagement (Wholesale and Europe), set and monitor distribution strategy for Wholesale platform, ensuring alignment with the Beazley's overall strategic goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with key distribution partners, to drive business growth, enhance market presence and ensure Beazley is front of mind.
Effectively communicate Beazley Group's strategy, corporate messaging and marketing initiatives to stakeholders.
Develop strategic engagement plans with partner brokers, set KPIs, monitor progress and implement remediation plans where appropriate
Work in collaboration with marketing and events to ensure Beazley is front of mind with our broking partners, through targeted events and marketing campaigns
Gain deep understanding of each underwriting team's risk appetite and support teams in delivery of their business plans.
Support and help drive Beazley's strategy for new business growth - to include cross-sell strategy, pipeline management and driving best practice amongst underwriting teams.
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Lloyd's Wholesale Partner Engagement team, reviewing and assessing the resources and skills needed for the team to be successful .
Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for wholesale partner engagement team, ensuring regular tracking and taking necessary actions when targets are not met
Represent Distribution team at relevant Beazley committees to ensure there is a client and broker focussed lens on relevant topics
Ensure insights on local market conditions, competitor landscape, change in broker strategies and client trends are delivered
Personal Specification:
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
Skills and Abilities
Proven relationship management and people leadership skills
Ability to work and self-motivate while being a key contributor and mentor
Strong business development and sales skills, with the ability to appropriately influence both internal and external stakeholders to obtain positive outcomes for the overall company
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to analyze large data sets and draw insight via appropriate software applications
Ability to interpret trends and customize strategy accordingly
Effective communicator, both verbal and written
Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize workflow
Knowledge and Experience
General commercial and financial knowledge
Deep understanding of insurance industry, broker or carrier experience preferred
Several years' business development experience, with a proven track record of developing profitable property/casualty portfolios
