Job Summary



The Head of Partnerships will shape and deliver the Group's Partnership Strategy, bringing our vision, values and proposition to life through strong, collaborative relationships. Working closely with senior leaders and external stakeholders, you will drive strategic alliances that maximise opportunities and create mutual value, ensuring partnerships contribute to organisational growth and success.

You will lead the development of partnership capability, market engagement, and innovative collaboration models to achieve shared objectives and deliver the Group's business plan. Acting as the expert in partnership management, you will spearhead initiatives that enhance client experience and foster a high-performing, customer and client focused culture.

You will provide direction to the Partnerships Team, building a trusted brand that works seamlessly with colleagues and clients across the regions. You will offer challenge, support, and expert advice to ensure partnerships are impactful and aligned with the regions and the sector's strategic priorities.

Responsible for promoting modern engagement platforms and ensuring partner relationships are industry-leading in terms of collaboration, transparency, and value creation.

Regular travel to the regional offices will be required.

Main Duties & Responsibilities



Specific objectives and deliverables will be agreed as part of your annual People Engagement Process (RE:PEP), the points below are a summary of your main duties and responsibilities. Work closely with the Executive Management Team and Regional Managing Directors to shape and deliver RE:GEN Group's partnership strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth ambitions. Provide expert guidance on partnership development, market positioning, and strategic collaboration to support long-term success and sustainability. Lead the identification and prioritisation of new regional opportunities, ensuring partnerships are identified and nurtured to deliver mutual value and competitive advantage. Act as the senior ambassador for RE:GEN Group with social housing providers and other strategic partners, fostering trust-based relationships that drive collaboration and innovation. Establish and maintain regular engagement forums with partners to review performance, share insights, and explore opportunities for joint initiatives. Ensure all partnership interactions reflect RE:GEN's values and commitment to exceptional customer experience. Proactively identify and develop joint opportunities with partners, including decarbonisation, delivery, joint efficiencies, technology, workforce planning and community-focused initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet partner needs while supporting RE:GEN's commercial objectives. Support tendering and bid strategies where partnerships are a key differentiator, ensuring RE:GEN is positioned as the partner of choice. Drive innovation in partnership models, exploring shared services, co-investment, and collaborative delivery approaches that enhance value for all stakeholders. Monitor sector trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to inform partnership strategy and maintain RE:GEN's market leadership. Champion thought leadership by promoting RE:GEN's expertise and insights within the social housing sector. Develop and maintain clear reporting frameworks to track partnership performance, outcomes, and return on investment. Provide regular, data-driven updates to the Executive Team on partnership progress, risks, and emerging opportunities. Embed RE:GEN's values and customer-first ethos within all partnership activities, ensuring a culture of collaboration and accountability. Mentor and support colleagues involved in partnership delivery, building capability and confidence across the business. Promote cross-functional working to maximize the impact of partnerships and deliver exceptional outcomes for customers and communities.

Other Duties



Support in the development / identification of software to support partnerships management. Managing health and safety issues in your area of responsibility in line with the relevant section(s) of the relevant Health and Safety Policy Complying with business confidentiality and information security policies, in line with GDPR and relevant legislation Live RE:GEN Group's values and behaviors

Experience & Skills



Essential



Level 5 Qualification in Construction, Business Management, Marketing, or a relevant discipline. Proven track record in developing and managing strategic partnerships within the social housing, construction, or regeneration sectors. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, evaluate, and deliver joint business opportunities that drive growth and mutual value. Exceptional relationship-building skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and fostering trust-based, long-term collaborations. Strategic thinking and planning ability, with experience in shaping partnership strategies aligned to business objectives. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Leadership capability, including experience mentoring teams and promoting cross-functional collaboration. Analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data, measure ROI, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Knowledge of social housing sector challenges and opportunities, including regulatory frameworks and market trends. Good interpersonal and influencing skills IT literate, competent in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Desirable



Relevant sector certifications such as CIH (Chartered Institute of Housing) membership or qualifications related to social housing and regeneration. Experience in regional expansion strategies and market entry planning. Familiarity with retrofit, sustainability, and regeneration programs within social housing. Understanding of procurement processes and tendering frameworks in the housing sector. Experience in innovative partnership models, such as co-investment or shared services. Established network within social housing providers and related industry bodies.
