Head of Payroll
to join our growing team.
This role is perfect for a CIPP-qualified professional or someone with solid payroll experience who enjoys variety and independence. You'll be managing payrolls for a range of small businesses - from simple director-only setups to larger payrolls with multiple staff.
What you'll be doing:
Running monthly and annual payrolls
Processing director-only and larger payrolls
Handling holiday pay, hourly pay, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)
Managing pension scheme administration
Ensuring full compliance with payroll legislation and reporting requirements
Preparing P11Ds/payrolled benefits
Keeping track of & claiming CIS tax suffered using monthly payment and deduction statements
Preparing monthly CIS subcontractor returns
What we're looking for:
CIPP qualified (or equivalent experience)
Hands-on experience usingXero and Moneysoft Payroll Manager
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
Able to manage deadlines across multiple clients
Strong communicator with a client-focused approach
Comfortable working independently, either onsite or remotely
