PURPOSE OF ROLE:



To retain, develop and grow a group of IMServ's most innovative and valuable clients. To support the scoping, development and eventual commercialisation of new IMServ products and services, working closely with IMServ's Business Development Director. To contribute towards the development of IMServ business and sales strategies. To develop long term relationships with key industry organisations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES



Work closely with the representatives of BT, CGI, ELEXON, Thames Water, Foresight Metering, Macquarie Bank (this group may change from time to time) to develop client strategies to: Understand client strategy and how IMServ can support with existing or new products and services. Working closely with IMServ's Business Development Director, understand and communicate client requirements to influence future product and service development. Initially commercialise new products and services to target clients; then standardise new products and services within IMServ to enable standard offering by the Sales function to realise market potential and deliver to the business case as a minimum. Contribute to the management of the business as a part of the Sales and Marketing Department Develop co-operative client focused relationships with all internal departments. Carry out other duties as identified from time to time by the Commercial Director Represent IMServ in public arenas such as conferences or exhibitions to promote the IMServ range of products and services, and host Corporate Hospitality events when required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:



Education to degree level or equivalent Excellent literacy and numeracy Proven IT Skills Previous business development experience particularly demonstrable ability to close business. Knowledge of Utility industry and general deregulation High level commercial exposure (networking at C suite level) Project Management Experience including analysis, design & execution Ability to think creatively and take initiative Proactive approach to potential customers Discretion is important as highly sensitive information is an everyday part of the role Regular travel in the UK; occasional international Flexibility to be away from home at short notice
