We are seeking a commercially minded Head of Performance Marketing to lead the strategy and execution of growth-focused marketing initiatives at Salon Business Solutions (SBS).Salon Business Solutions is home to vegan and sustainable hair brands and is the exclusive UK distributor of O&M (Australia), Nine Yards (Sweden), and EveryGreen (Italy). We also distribute a wider portfolio including Keratin Complex, Hair Collective. Working alongside the Head of Brand Marketing and Director of Marketing & E-Commerce, you will be responsible for driving online growth across B2B, B2C, and D2C channels. This will include SEO, content marketing, paid media, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and analytics. The role requires a balance of planning and hands-on execution, working cross-functionally with brand, creative, e-commerce, and social.
This role is heavily content driven some experience pulling together content pieces is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Growth Marketing
Own and co-develop the organic and paid media strategy across channels (Amazon, Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, affiliates, etc.), balancing acquisition and retention. You will have team members and agencies in place to assist with this.
Develop and manage a performance marketing roadmap, ensuring campaigns are optimised for CAC, ROAS, and LTV.
Design and deliver segmented campaigns to audiences to drive new business growth.
Customer Retention & CRM
Lead the retention strategy across email, SMS, loyalty programs, and remarketing.
Segment customer audiences and design lifecycle journeys to maximise repeat purchases and introduce/build a scalable subscription model.
Work closely with direct report the E-Commerce Specialist to improve conversion funnels and checkout performance.
Oversee the creation of content and an SEO strategy for social channels, newsletters, and email marketing, ensuring consistent engagement and retention.
Analytics & Reporting
Own marketing performance dashboards and attribution models, ensuring clarity on ROI by channel. The creation of dashboards are not required as these are templated by our systems.
Run A/B tests across ad creative, landing pages, and email/SMS campaigns to optimise results.
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with the Head of Brand Marketing to align performance and brand initiatives, ensuring consistency while maximising growth.
Collaborate with the Creative Director and Social Media Manager to brief and optimise assets for performance.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and line management, with responsibility for growing the performance marketing function in 2026 and beyond.

Requirements
Experience of a head of marketing in a scaling business.
Deep understanding of customer journeys, funnel optimisation, and lifecycle marketing.
Test-and-learn mindset with the ability to act quickly on insights and be reactive and open to changing tactics with fluctuating sales figures
Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and grow a team.
