We are currently seeking a
qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher
to join our
pre-school team
on a
maternity cover basis
. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role and make a real impact by overseeing the curriculum and supporting the development of our pre-school learners.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and provide satisfactory references prior to their appointment. Ongoing safeguarding training and support will be provided as part of your role.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, development, and delivery of a high-quality curriculum
for the pre-school room, in line with the
EYFS framework
Ensure learning experiences are engaging, age-appropriate, and tailored to meet the needs of individual children
Support and guide team members in effective teaching practices and curriculum implementation
Observe, assess, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to learning journeys
Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, independence, and a love of learning
Build strong, professional relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies and procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
Strong understanding and experience of delivering the
EYFS curriculum
Proven experience in an early years leadership role or readiness to take on a curriculum leadership responsibility
Excellent communication, organisational, and team leadership skills
A nurturing, creative, and committed approach to early years education
Passion for supporting children's development and preparing them for school
