Salary: Up to 71,000 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Head of Primary Care to join our team of staff in the Business Development department.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week.
Duties of this role include:
Provide strategic direction for all Primary Care services, ensuring alignment with Circle Health Group's corporate goals.
Lead the growth of Health Screening and GP services, delivering direct and indirect revenue targets.
Oversee mobilisation of new sites and services, ensuring smooth integration and strong financial performance.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in product and service delivery.
Take accountability for financial performance of Primary Care, achieving EBITDAR targets.
Monitor performance metrics including utilisation, margins, and patient satisfaction, and take corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure all Primary Care services are compliant with regulatory requirements (CQC, GMC) and internal governance standards.
Act as the senior point of contact for corporate clients, brokers, intermediaries, and referral partners.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Proven senior leadership experience in healthcare, preferably within Primary Care, GP services, or Health Screening.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in driving revenue growth and operational performance.
Demonstrable experience of building and managing corporate client relationships, including brokers and intermediaries.
Knowledge of healthcare governance, CQC regulations, and clinical quality frameworks.
Track record of service innovation and development.
Strong influencing, communication, and negotiation skills, with credibility at Board and client level.
Experience of leading, coaching, and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
