Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with the Sales Director, you will be responsible for sourcing and ordering materials for in-house manufacturing and also 'bought out products', achieving the best possible value and ensuring excellent quality.
The role will encompass most areas of the business and as such, you will have cross-functional skills to enable you to act as a key point of contact for colleagues and customers.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities
General
Work closely with existing suppliers and establish new ones to mitigate risks and drive profitability.
Buy competitively and ensure quality adherence from our suppliers.
Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain supplier performance metrics.
Schedule material deliveries for multiple ongoing and upcoming projects simultaneously.
Develop our Kanban process and stocks and create triggers for minimum order quantities.
Strong negotiation skills.
IT proficient.
Set-up and control the Webshop offerings, ensuring product ranges and prices are competitive and correct.
Monitor procurement activity and compliance, producing reports for monthly analysis.
Provide administrative support for all aspects of procurement, including maintaining accurate records, preparing purchase orders, and managing supplier documentation.
Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry developments to identify potential cost savings and process improvements/new markets.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in the analysis of demand patterns to optimise procurement decisions.
Quote Facilitation - Taking enquiries from our Customers/Sales Team for 'buy outs' and liaising with suppliers for best prices.
Assist with jobs that have been sent off-site (outwork)
Resolving any quality issues that arise from procurement suppliers promptly.
To work with the Sales Director to identify and develop new markets and sectors.
To ensure all ISO procedures are adhered to, and any non-conformances are followed up implementing corrective actions where necessary.
To review performance with the Commercial Manager through regular meetings.
To follow the principles of the company 'Charter'.
Any other reasonable request from a Director.
Compliant with H&S practices.
IT
To produce reports and presentations using word, excel and power point when required.
To use the company e-mail system in accordance with our company policies.
To utilise the MIS system to maximum advantage and make improvements to this.
To identify and develop new ways of working to improve communication internally and externally.

To advise and communicate with all members of staff when required.
Professional conduct in terms of verbal and written communication.
To be an active member of the sales and commercial team.
To regularly meet with other management and colleagues to enhance business performance.
