The Role:

Reporting directly into the General Manager, the Head of Procurement at Pharmaxo will play a pivotal role in providing a procurement strategy, that is in line with the business\' objectives. You will also be responsible for line managing a team of 4 procurement specialists through a matrix to support the operational business units and group function, providing both leadership and a vision.

The ideal candidate will have strong proven experience in a senior procurement position, be a commercially minded professional, and have a real passion for what they do.

Responsibilities of the Head of Procurement will include but not be limited to:

• Developing a procurement strategy for Pharmaxo Group that is aligned with the overall business strategy, working closely with multiple key stakeholders within the business and group subsidiaries.
• Leading a group of 4 procurement professionals, providing a vision and direction, and passionate about developing these individuals in their respective careers.
• Continuously developing market knowledge and conducting market research to keep on top of all market trends, needs and products.
• Negotiating supplier agreements and monitoring their progress and SLA\'s.
• Forecasting price trends, and their impact on future activities as well as processing forecast gap analysis responses and mitigate risk to continual supply.

Your Profile:

• An experienced procurement professional, who understands what \'good\' looks like within both process and practice, with the ability to turn this into strategy and execution.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences or the NHS is highly desirable, but not essential. Prior experience in a highly regulated industry would also be an advantage
• A high level of business acumen and professionalism, with the ability to partner with senior leadership and internal departments as well as manage important external relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
• CIPS qualification is highly desirable.
• A high performing and self-motivated individual, with the ability to work well in a fast moving and dynamic environment.
• An experienced leader, with the ability to influence and provide a vision.

Salary:

In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between \xc2\xa370-90k dependant on experience. The Head of Procurement will also receive a car allowance of \xc2\xa310k per annum (subject to policy parameters) and will be eligible for the Pharmaxo bonus scheme.
