Job Title: Head of Product Delivery
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00)
Salary: up to \xc2\xa390,000 and up to 30% bonus and benefits
Location: we could support hybrid working from our London office

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Product to lead our Digital Channels and Savings division at Tandem Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated tribe consisting of three Product Owners and five squads. Your primary objective will be to drive the development and delivery of all savings products, including green savings, IASA (Instant Access Savers), fixed term savers, and other related offerings. Additionally, you will oversee the development and enhancement of all customer-facing digital channels, such as the website, mobile app, Loop (money sharing app), design language, and the payments platform.

What you will be working on:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated tribe, consisting of three Product Owners and five squads, to deliver innovative and sustainable savings products and customer-facing digital channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owners and squads to define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the bank\'s green/sustainability focus.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, and continually assess product performance and customer feedback for ongoing optimization.
  • Work closely with the customer and brand council within the bank, engaging with representation from the Executive Committee (ExCo) and the Board, to ensure product strategies align with the bank\'s overall vision and values.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the tribe, empowering team members to deliver high-quality products and experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, data, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of product initiatives and maximize customer engagement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to sustainable finance and digital banking, and apply this knowledge to drive product innovation and differentiation.
  • Report directly to the Director of Data and Digital, providing regular updates on product development, performance, and future plans
What we\'re looking for:
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in product management, preferably in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on digital channels and savings products.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, overseeing and managing cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • In-depth understanding of savings products, including green/sustainable financial solutions and their unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with customer-facing digital channels, including web, mobile app, and payment platforms.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and ability to drive a cohesive design language across multiple digital touchpoints.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility, with a deep understanding of the green banking landscape.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
