Position Summary
The Head of Product leads Metrea's Product Capability, a centre of excellence for product management and delivery across all our solutions, with a focus on software-based projects. This role is responsible developing our Product capability (department), the people within it and its processes. This is done by mentoring product managers and analysts, collaborating with the Heads of Engineering, QA, our labs, the head of D&S and other stakeholders across Metrea. The Head of Product will play a pivotal role in developing leadership within the capability and supporting cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
Lead and evolve the Product Capability across Metrea.
Apply and champion Metrea's Solution Engine Framework across product lifecycles.
Support Product managers with product strategy and processes.
Develop Product's understanding of agile (and other) frameworks to improve delivery.
Mentor and develop Product Managers and Analysts, fostering leadership and growth.
Drive continuous improvement in product processes, reporting, and team training.
Support strategic planning and resource allocation across multiple projects and business areas.
Act as a key contributor to leadership development within Metrea.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Proven experience in leading product teams within software environments.
Strong background in product and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
Experience in complex software, simulation, video games, or systems is highly desirable. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic outcomes. Comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.

Experience from the armed forces or the defense industry is desirable but is not required.
Experience in software engineering or design.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Legal right to work in the United Kingdom, or Sweden.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
