Job Description

This is a remote role; however, the candidate should be based near Greater Manchester or Farnborough, as regular travel to one of our offices will be required. Occasional national and international travel may also be needed as part of this role.

i6 is a market leader in aviation fuel management technology, providing digital solutions that optimise fuel operations for airlines, fuel service providers, and fuel suppliers. Our mission is to transform aviation fuel management, making operations smarter, greener, and more efficient.



Role Overview





The Head of Product Management is accountable for the evolution of all i6 products through an understanding of current and future customer requirements, product capabilities and the strategic direction of i6. This includes owning the product strategy and top-level business product roadmap to achieve the business vision and strategic aims.



The Head of Product Management is responsible for the total performance of the Product Management function, including all aspects of people management; hiring, goal setting, development and managing performance levels.



They are a champion of the Agile Product Development approach across the organisation, ensuring the organisation gains the benefits of this approach by promoting, coaching, continuously developing and improving the practice.



They ensure best practice is being adopted within the Product Management team, ensuring knowledge is being transferred, people continue to grow and product roadmaps are effectively communicated across the Business. They ensure consistency of approach and co-ordination between products driving efficiency in the portfolio. They are a key communication conduit ensuring successes are celebrated and lessons learnt.



The role works closely with the Leadership Team to implement and achieve the business strategy, ensuring effective product solutions that meet the company's commercial goals including budget and time commitments, deployment schedules and scope completion.



The individual will be an innovator and leader who will use their experience and passion for digital solutions to bring innovative technological solutions to new and existing opportunities which will allow faster go to market, provide scalability and high code solutions.

Essential Skills




Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering preferred. Extensive Product management experience (8+ years) Leadership experience of Product teams or Cross-functional teams incorporating Product (5+ years). Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle management Commercial acumen; the ability to align Product strategy with business goals. Excellent stakeholder management internally and externally displaying strong influence and negotiation skills.
