The Role

As Head of Production, you will be the driving force behind our core operational output. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering high-quality, efficient, and scalable production across two sites in close proximity. Your key responsibilities will include:

Workflow Optimisation:

Designing and implementing lean production processes to reduce costs, improve turnaround times, and enhance overall efficiency.

Quality Control:

Establishing and maintaining rigorous quality standards to ensure consistency and excellence across all production outputs.

Technical Leadership:

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our two site production teams, ensuring smooth coordination and performance.

Team & Resource Management:

Leading and developing a team of Production Supervisors, Managers, and Operators. You'll also manage inventory levels and forecast capacity needs to meet demand effectively.

What We're Looking For

Industry Experience:

A proven track record of 2+ years in a senior production leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing or operations environment.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong operational knowledge of production workflows, equipment, and materials handling.

Process Excellence:

Demonstrated success in applying continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to drive operational gains.

Data-Driven Leadership:

Ability to interpret production metrics (e.g., throughput, efficiency, waste) and use data to inform strategic decisions.
