We are seeking a highly organised and knowledgeable Head of Property Law to lead our legal team specialising in property-related matters. The successful candidate will oversee legal processes, ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and provide expert guidance on property transactions. Duties
Lead and manage the property law department, ensuring efficient handling of all legal matters related to property acquisitions, disposals, leases, and disputes.
Oversee the preparation, review, and negotiation of legal documents including contracts, lease agreements, and title deeds.
Maintain accurate data entry and record-keeping using Yardi or similar property management software.
Provide expert advice to internal teams on legal risks and compliance issues pertaining to property transactions.
Liaise with external solicitors, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth legal processes.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff on legal updates and best practices in property law.
Assist with administrative tasks such as managing correspondence via phone etiquette and supporting office operations.
Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or solutions related to property management.
Requirements
Proven experience in property law with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
Prior office experience with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with Yardi or comparable property management systems.
Strong administrative experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for liaising with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Ability to perform upselling where appropriate to enhance service offerings.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to manage a team effectively.
