Standard Utilities is a fast-growing telecoms provider, delivering broadband and VoIP to businesses across the UK and Ireland. We're focused on reliability, service excellence, and building strong relationships with our clients and partners. As we continue to scale, we're looking for a driven and experienced Head of Provisioning to lead our service delivery function.

Role Overview:

The Head of Provisioning will be responsible for managing the end-to-end provisioning of broadband and VoIP. You will lead a team of provisioning staff, manage key supplier relationships, and ensure timely and efficient activation of services for our customers. This role requires a high level of organisation, people management, and cross-departmental collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the provisioning team to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of telecoms services Manage provisioning workflows across broadband, VoIP and associated services Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, escalating and resolving issues when necessary Collaborate closely with engineering, support, and sales teams to ensure aligned service delivery Monitor team KPIs and implement improvements to optimise performance and efficiency Ensure accurate record-keeping across provisioning systems and internal platforms Identify and resolve bottlenecks in order processing, keeping customers informed of progress Act as the escalation point for complex provisioning cases or supplier-related delays Contribute to strategic planning and process development as part of the wider operations team

Requirements:

Proven experience in telecoms provisioning, service delivery, or operations Strong leadership and team management experience Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working across multiple provisioning platforms and CRM systems Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

Knowledge of VoIP platforms, FTTP/FTTC provisioning, and mobile service activation Experience working with wholesale telecom providers in the UK or Ireland Familiarity with ticketing, CRM, and project management tools
