Your role in the Team's Success The Head of Quantitative Analysis will lead our firm's quantitative research and analytical capabilities, overseeing the development, validation, and enhancement of quantitative models and analytical frameworks across multiple asset classes. This senior leadership role combines deep technical with strategic analytical insights to drive data-driven decision making and support the firm's and risk management , across its derivatives business What doKey Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Provide strategic direction for the firm's quantitative analysis function, new analytical opportunities, methodologies, and technological advancements Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quantitative analysts and researchers Collaborate with senior leadership to align quantitative analysis with overall business goals Build and relationships with key stakeholders across , risk, and technology teams Establish and analytical standards and quality metrics for all quantitative research activities Research & Development Drive the innovation and enhancement of proprietary analytical models, valuation frameworks, and risk assessment tools Oversee the research process from hypothesis generation to model validation and implementation Evaluate and prioritize analytical initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and strategic fit Stay at the forefront of developments in quantitative finance, machine learning, and statistical modelling Foster a culture of intellectual rigor, analytical excellence, and continuous improvement Model Development & Validation Ensure robust development and validation of quantitative models across all business functions Oversee the implementation of analytical frameworks for portfolio optimization, performance attribution, and risk assessment Guide the integration of new analytical tools and methodologies into existing workflows Maintain model governance standards and documentation requirements Risk Management & Analysis Implement comprehensive analytical frameworks for risk measurement and monitoring Ensure proper back testing, stress testing, and scenario analysis of all quantitative models Work with and risk teams to develop appropriate analytical controls and reporting Collaborate with the Risk team to support the analysis of market, credit, and operational risks through quantitative methods What you'll need for this roleEducation & Experience Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, research, or related fields Proven track record of developing and implementing analytical models and frameworks Experience managing teams of highly skilled quantitative professionals Demonstrated in statistical modelling and data analysis across multiple domains Technical Skills Deep understanding of statistical methods, econometric techniques, and their application to financial analysis in programming languages commonly used in quantitative analysis (Python, R, SQL, MATLAB, etc.) Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and analytical frameworks Experience with big data technologies, cloud computing, and advanced analytics platforms Understanding of financial theory and practice, including portfolio theory, asset pricing, and risk management Leadership & Personal Qualities Strategic vision and analytical mindset Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Outstanding communication and presentation skills Ability to lead and inspire teams of technical professionals Intellectual curiosity and commitment to analytical excellence Integrity and ethical conduct in all aspects of research and analysis Number of openings1
