This role will involve understanding and managing the operational resilience and third party risks for Asta and its clients.###
Key Tasks
Responsible for the effective design and operation of Asta's Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Third-Party Assurance Frameworks, ensuring risks to Asta and Clients are identified, assessed, monitored and managed. Work closely with other teams who oversee third parties e.g. Delegated Authority, Claims and IT, to ensure an integrated approach that is compliant with regulations.
Lead the Business Resilience team. Ensure each member has clear goals, is delivering good quality work and making a positive contribution to Asta. Foster an inclusive and engaging working environment, providing opportunities for team members to use their strengths and develop their skills
Maintain robust and efficient processes and procedural controls to ensure effective operational risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements for PRA, FCA, Lloyd's, and other international regulators as required.
Work with new clients to ensure compliance with Asta frameworks within agreed timelines. Ensure that clients embed proportionate operational resilience and third-party practices from the outset.
Prepare reporting for governing bodies and regulators including risk and control assessments, Asta oversight group reporting, updates for client boards and submission of returns to Lloyd's and the PRA.
Promote resilience and third party management awareness and champion good practices across Asta teams and clients.

Key technical skills, knowledge and professional qualifications required-
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Lloyd's market gaining a good working knowledge of standard Lloyd's contractual arrangements, including service companies, coverholders, lead/follow, consortia, lineslips, intragroup agreements etc.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in business continuity management, operational risk/resilience or third party assurance.
Excellent understanding of UK regulatory requirements for operational resilience and third party risk management.
Experience of advising and participating at Executive level
